Have you set an intention to do something new or develop (or break) a habit in the New Year? Let NCPL help! Join us for one or all parts of our New Year’s Resolution Series! All sessions will be held in NCPL Main Branch Community Room #1. No sign ups are necessary. Open to ages 18 and up.
- Session 1: 1/7 at 4 pm: Healthy Recipes to Kick Off the New Year
- Improve your health in 2026 by eating well! Join Danielle Hagler, Nelson County Cooperative Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences, for a discussion of healthy & accessible recipes to set yourself up for success.
- Session 2: 1/14 at 4 pm: Nelson County & Beyond: A Genealogy Session
Sharpen your genealogy skills this new year as we address 2 resolutions:
Resolution #1: Visit Other Places with Sarah Kerrick
Resolution #2: Creating Bio-Sketches with Stephanie Clayton
- Session 3: 1/21 at 4 pm: It’s OK to be a Quitter
- Kick an old habit this year! Meet with Rachel Briney from Lincoln Trail District Health Department for a session focused on tips & resources for quitting nicotine products including cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, & e-cigarettes/vapes.
- Session 4: 1/28 at 4 pm: Travel Chat
- Make your travel dreams a reality in 2026! Join us for Travel Chat to share where you’ve been, where you’d like to go next, & get new journey ideas from other patrons. Feel free to bring photos or souvenirs to show off!
