Library Closing

The Nelson County Public Library in Bardstown will close at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, to allow staff to pay their respects and support the procession honoring Technical Sergeant Ashley Pruitt.

All morning programs including Chair Yoga, Strength & Stability, ESL classes, and Baby Story-Time have been canceled.

The library will reopen once the procession concludes.

Join our Knitting Group off-site! Our weekly crafters' group will gather on Mondays (until the NCPL Main Branch reopens) at The Gallery from 10 am-12 pm. Though the group is not intended to be instructive for beginners, patrons are encouraged to bring any project to work on alongside fellow crafters, be it knitting, crocheting, sewing, or embroidery. The group is open to ages 18 and up and no registration is required.
