This March, join us to learn about the multiple issues and changes in routine baby care from local pediatrician Dr. Stan L. Block. Topics of discussion will include breastfeeding, bottle feeding, skin care, recommended vaccines, and baby milestones. We'll meet on Saturday, March 7th, at 11:00 am in NCPL Main Branch Community Room #2.
Dr. Stan L. Block, M.D., is one of the country's most published general pediatricians and has practiced full-time pediatrics for 40+ years. As director of Kentucky Pediatric and Adult Research for 30+ years, he helped develop many of today’s vaccines and antibiotics. By himself or collaborating with NIH and pharmaceutical companies, he has published landmark articles shaping modern pediatric care. He has served on many national journals and AAPboards. Known for his wit, candor, and compassion, Dr. Block blends science, storytelling, and humanity in his practice and writing.
