UPDATE: The last 2 sessions of Kick Kentucky Cancer with Nelson County Extension will be held virtually. These were originally scheduled at the New Haven Branch on 10/20 and the Main Branch on 10/27, but will now be prerecorded and aired on Facebook. Listen in Thursday at 6 pm! 

Join Danielle Hagler, Nelson County Cooperative Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences, for the 4-part series this October, Kick Kentucky Cancer. You'll learn to understand cancer, apply strategies to manage nutrition during cancer, implement coping strategies to improve mental health during cancer, balance caregiving responsibilities with self-care, and recognize ways to be empathetic to someone with cancer.

Sessions will be held at the following locations with the indicated topics:
-October 6th: Nelson County Extension Office: Cancer Basics & Managing Nutrition During Cancer
-October 13th: Bloomfield Branch: Taking Care of Your Mental Health During Cancer
-October 20th: New Haven Branch: Caring for Someone with Cancer
-October 27th: Main Branch, Community Room #1: Interacting with Someone with Cancer
