All branches of the Nelson County Public Library will be closed from Friday, January 30, 2026 through Sunday, February 1, 2026. All programs, groups, and events during this time are canceled.

Event Details

Join us for an indoor picnic and storytime! Bring your own blanket and/or chairs and claim your spot to enjoy a free picnic dinner in the main area of the library while we read fun stories and do crafts and activities!

Registration is required for this event. Please sign up ONE SPOT per family (duplicate sign-ups will be deleted). Please specify in the special notes section how many family members are planning to attend. If you register and are unable to attend, please call the library at 348-3714 so that we can give your spot to a family on the waitlist.
