Event Details

This May, join us for an interactive look into dyslexia, presented by Nikki Anderson, M.S., M.A.Ed., OT/L, Dyslexia Specialist. Meeting Thursday, May 18, from 6:30-8:30 pm, this is a hands-on workshop will allow participants to experience some of the challenges and frustrations faced by people with a language-based learning disability. This simulation will provide a lively, thought-provoking activity for teachers, parents, or anyone interested in better understanding the lives of individuals with dyslexia. Participants will rotate among learning stations that simulate language-related tasks that may be encountered in the classroom and workplace. There will also be time for discussion around dyslexia resources and student/family support. Registration required.
