All branches of the Nelson County Public Library will be closed from Friday, January 30, 2026 through Sunday, February 1, 2026. All programs, groups, and events during this time are canceled.

Event Details

This September, help us to encourage recycling in our community! Drop in on Thursday, September 19, between 4-6 pm at NCPL Main Branch Community Room #2 to exchange new or gently used art & craft supplies. Please bring no more than 12 items. Open to ages 18 & up. 

Not sure what to bring? Consider the following:

  • drawing materials (markers, pens, etc.)
  • fabric
  • papercraft supplies (paper, washi tape, stamps, stickers, etc.)
  • painting supplies (paint, paintbrushes, canvases, etc.)
  • scissors
  • children's craft supplies (pipe cleaners, pom poms, glitter, etc.)
  • cake decorating supplies
  • needlework supplies (yarn, thread, needles, crochet hooks, etc.)
  • floral supplies
