Event Details

Celebrating Kentucky authors has become a summer tradition at NCPL! Join us for our 4th annual rendition of Kentucky Reads, a statewide literacy initiative conducted by Kentucky Humanities in which writers from our Commonwealth are highlighted. This year’s selection, Savory Memories, edited by L. Elisabeth Beattie, is a nonfiction collection of recipes & the stories behind them. Copies can be picked up at the Main Branch & should be read prior to the program, which is scheduled for June 26th at 6:30 pm in NCPL Main Branch Community Room #1. Scholar Diane Calhoun-French will return to lead our discussion.
