We're approaching 6 months of meeting with our Around the World Book Club! If you enjoy exploring other cultures and learning about diverse experiences, this group may be a great fit for you! Meet with us the 1st Friday of each month at noon in the Main Branch Conference Room to discuss a book written by an author from outside of the US. We've already covered works by writers from Cameroon, Chile, India, and Australia, with South Africa next on our list. Stop by the Main Branch ahead of time to pick up our current selection (please note that there may be a waitlist).

Take note of upcoming dates and selections:

  • March 4th: dicsuss Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah
  • April 1st: discuss Night by Elie Wiesel
  • May 6th: discuss Inside Out & Back Again by Thanhha Lai
